This model is named Naiad (which is a water nymph in Greek Mythology) as it is one of Omega's earliest waterproof models. Nicknamed Medicus, as at the time it was very popular amongst doctors. Featuring the legendary Omega 23.4 SC manual movement (first movement with a center second).
This particular watch is dated from 1943 and is in good working order. It runs well, but also has some lovely age related patina on its dial. A lovely piece of history at a very sensible price point.
